Before a strip is ordered to fit a cabinet or display, YF-WIND asks whether the proposed assembly permits the required length adjustment. A flexible appearance does not establish that a strip can be cut anywhere or joined using a familiar connector. Use the instructions for the exact assembly.
The mechanical length is only one constraint
A finished route may include corners, service gaps and controller connections. Define the desired physical segments and ask whether they correspond to permitted assembly segments. The answer must come from the proposed product documentation, not a photograph of another strip.
| Requirement | What to compare | Acceptance evidence |
|---|---|---|
| Length adjustment | Permitted cut locations for exact assembly | Manufacturer instructions |
| Joining | Approved connector and joint process | Assembly documentation |
| Environmental protection | Treatment of the complete joint | Applicable assembly evidence |
| Control continuity | Mapping across segments | Prototype sequence test |
A display frame with four sides
For a fictional rectangular frame, mark each side and the cable route on a drawing. Ask whether a corner is made by bending within approved limits, using a documented connection or dividing the assembly. Do not force a strip around a corner just to match the visual render.

FRAME BRIEF
Side A / B / C / D: dimensions on drawing
Corners: proposed method requires approval
Service joint: named location
Mapping: verify actual order through each segmentAvoid generic modification instructions
This guide provides no cutting, soldering or waterproofing procedure. The exact assembly instructions and qualified engineering review determine those steps. A component datasheet alone cannot approve a modified finished strip. Confirm which supplied configuration the quotation covers and whether the requested segmentation is included.
Prepare a specific YF-WIND enquiry
Send the item type, full component or assembly reference if selected, quantity and unit, destination country and target delivery requirement. Include the relevant customer-owned drawing and describe which questions still need engineering input. Distinguish an evaluation candidate from an approved production item; identify whether alternatives may be proposed for review.
