Identify the complete WS2812B-2020 reference
The upgrade notice dated 30 September 2025 names WS2812B-V6 and WS2812B-2020-V6 as distinct product references. The notice is a reason to retain the suffix in purchasing records, rather than assuming that every WS2812B listing describes the same item.
This article does not establish that an older version and a proposed current part are interchangeable in your design. Ask for the technical document applicable to the specific quotation and have engineering review it against the approved board and control implementation.
